The first meeting of the month is a trading session and the second has an auction.

Our History

Two dedicated philatelists, Robert Ware and William Hassan, were the leaders in the formation of the Ithaca Philatelic Society. They called a meeting of 43 area collectors on February 17, 1932 at the YMCA.

The society continued to hold regular meetings and in 1940, one of its members, Ed Richardson, was elected to be the first President of the Federation of Central New York Philatelic Societies.
